Personal data we process
We process your personal data because you are a member of our association or because you want to become one. Below is a list of the types of personal data we process:
- Full name, including family name
- Address
- Phone number
- E-mail address
- Bank account number (IBAN)
- IP adresses and AS numbers you use through the association
- Your IP address when you make use of or log in to ColoClue services
- RIPE handle (from the RIPE database)
We do not process special category data of our members.
On what basis and with what purpose are we processing personal data
Netwerkvereniging ColoClue processes your personal data because of the agreement we’ve made or are making with you, based on your (upcoming) membership.
Netwerkvereniging ColoClue processes your personal data for the following reasons:
- So that we can do the administration of your membership
- So that we can process payments in our administration
- So that we can send you important announcements relating to ColoClue
- So that we can contact you when this is needed to provide you with our services
How long do we keep personal data
Netwerkvereniging ColoClue keeps your personal data no longer than strictly required for the purposes for which we’ve collected the data. This is how long we keep the following personal data:
- Financial data: 10 years after the calendar year in which the data have been collected
- Complaints: 2 years after handling the complaint
- Other personal data identified in this privacy statement: 2 years after the membership or the agreement has been terminated and handled.
Sharing of personal data with other parties
Netwerkvereniging ColoClue will only share your personal data with other parties when this is required to execute our agreement and/or to adhere to legal requirements.
Cookies, or comparable techniques, we use
Netwerkvereniging ColoClue only uses cookies to ensure a correct operation of our website. These ‘cookies’ are small files the system you use to visit our website receives from our webserver; with subsequent visits, your system will send those along.
Right of access, rectification, erasure or destruction of your personal data
You have the right to access your personal data, to add to them, to correct them, to remove them and to destroy them. Next to that you have the right to cancel your agreement for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Netwerkvereniging ColoClue. You also have the right to dataportability: you can ask us for the personal data we have of you in a computer file which we can then send to you or another organisation identified by you.
You can submit a request regarding any of these rights with regards to your personal data via e-mail to ops@coloclue.net. To protect your privacy we will ensure this request came from you: we will call you to verify the request and check your identiy.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but always within four weeks.
How we secure personal data
At Netwerkvereniging ColoClue we find the protection of your online privacy very important. We take appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted publication and unauthorized changes. We take all reasonable and legally required precautions to safeguard your personal data.
Only board members and committee members of Netwerkvereniging ColoClue en organisations we have contracted can access your personal data, and only those data they need access to.
If you believe your data are not properly protected or that they are being misused, please send an e-mail to ops@coloclue.net with any details you have.
Changing this privacy statement
We can change this privacy statement. When this happens, we will inform our members. The most recent version will always be available at our website. Where the English translation deviates from the Dutch version, the Dutch text will be leading.
